Christine Damiani
ASSISTANT Preschool Director
Being born and raised in California to two English parents was interesting. We moved abroad
when I was 7 and traveled extensively while we lived in England and Libya. Upon returning to
the states, we moved quite a bit with my fathers job and eventually landed in Houston. I
graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Speech and Hearing Pathology in which I
practiced for many years before becoming a Special Education Dept. Chairperson in Alief ISD.
After 32 years in public ed. I retired but found myself interested in teaching little ones. I am
blessed to have been able to do that now for close to 10 years.
I have a very supportive husband named David. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 3 wonderful
grandchildren who we enjoy spending time with as often as possible.
We have a dog named Oscar that is a Chug (go figure, he’s a Chihuahua and Pug mix) who we
absolutely adore!!
We moved to Canyon Lake in 2017 and I was very blessed to have found Methodist Preschool
that year. I became a Pre-K teacher at that time. And here I am now, as Assistant. Director to
the fabulous Crystal Coffing. I absolutely love working with people, especially children. They are
definitely a gift from God and being able to touch their lives, even if only for a short period is
truly amazing. I look forward to serving our community for several more years.
